TIAHUANACO PRE INCA RUINS / HALF DAY CITY
TOUR WITH VALLEY OF THE MOON
Trip through the Bolivian Highlands to see
the Aymara Indians way of life. Tiahuanaco
(Tiwanacu) is one of the oldest American cultures,
considered the cradle of American men and
one of the most advanced cultures at that
time. (B)
P. M. Tour of La Paz including street markets,
rich in handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft
artifacts. The colonial part with San Francisco
church, the Gold and Murillo museums and Murillo
square. Finally, visit the Moon Valley with
its natural geological formations due to erosion.

LA PAZ / SORATA
Private transportation from La Paz to Sorata,
crossing part of the highlands and the Andes
range to then go down a valley until the town
of Sorata (4 hours - 2,568 m/8,423 ft). A
beautiful town in the foothills of the Illampu
and Ancohuma mountain. All the area is rich
in agriculture with good weather.
In the afternoon you will visit the town and
enjoy the culture of their people and the

SORATA /COPACABANA / ISLAND OF THE SUN
Private transportation to Copacabana (4 hours),
a beautiful town in the shores of Lake Titicaca.
You’ll visit the famous Dark Virgin
and its impressive church. Then boat to Sun
Island, the sacred place of the Incas, visit
the ruins of Pilkokaina and one hour hike
to overnight in Ecolodge La Estancia. (B,

HIKE IN THE ISLAND OF THE SUN / HUATAJATA
(Catamaran)
DON’T MISS A GREAT SUNRISE! Boat to
the Chincana bay, see the best preserved ruins
of the island, great hike crossing most of
the island back to the Ecolodge, have a traditional
lunch called huatia, where everything is cooked
below earth under the fire. Hike to Yumani
in the Garden of the Incas, to see the water
spring of the Eternal Youth, where the Incas
were baptize. Take the catamaran to Huatajata,
crossing part of Lake Titicaca, overnight
in hotel Titicaca. (B, L, D)

HUATAJATA / LAKE CONDORIRI / LA PAZ
Private transportation from Huatajata to Lake
Tuni. Trek until the foothills of the Andes
Range, then uphill through a small lagoon
first and to another one next at the banks
on the Condoriri mountain (4,650 m/15,246
ft). Return to Tuni lagoon and then transportation
back to La Paz. (B, L)

COROICO (Towards the Amazon jungle)
The trip goes up to 4.,650 m/15,246 ft at
La Cumbre, then dropping down to 1,150 m/3,771
ft in Yolosa at the entrance of the Amazon
basin. Arriving to Coroico, a small colonial
town set in the hills with a good view of
the jungle valleys below. Enjoy the great
weather, a swimming pool and the nature of
the area. Late in the afternoon transportation
back to La Paz. (B, L)
