RAFTING IN BOLIVIA - 001
RAFTING IN THE COROICO RIVER (2 days / 1 night)

DAY 1
LA PAZ /SANTA BARBARA
Trip to Yungas in the Cascada hostel, you'll do rafting through some wonderful canyons and see a myriad of bird life and tropical vegetation. After lunch, you'll continue down river and enjoy the incredible views and warm weather that this region is famous for. Return to the hostel. (L, D)

DAY 2
RAFTING / LA PAZ
Today you'll do rafting in another section of the river and go for a hike to some waterfalls up in the mountains. In the afternoon depart back to La Paz. (B, L)




SEA KAYAKING IN BOLIVIA - 001
SEA KAYAKING ON LAKE TITICACA - GATEWAY TOUR (2 days / 1 night)

DAY 1
LA PAZ – PUERTO PEREZ – COHANI ISLAND
Early departure from La Paz to Puerto Perez and prepare our kayaks for the overnight trip. After having on water demos and instruction in paddling techniques and safety measures we’ll head north along the peninsula until we reach the Island of Cohani. Camp on shore of this island for the night. (L,D)

DAY 2
COHANI AND SURIQUI ISLANDS – TIQUINA STRAIT – LA PAZ
You’ll head north and visit Suriki Island, visit the museum and the local boat craftsmen, three of the four famous reed-boat builders that helped Thor Heyerdal are from this island. Lunch stop along the way. Continue north past Taquiri Island and continue to the Strait of Tiquina. Return to La Paz. (B,L)




BIKING IN BOLIVIA - 001
LA CUMBRE TO COROICO (Full day)

Private transportation from La Paz to La Cumbre (4,650 m/15,252 ft), to ride your bike, while seeing the Andes pass, with snow capped mountains, llamas and a strong Indian heritage in the surroundings. Descending is amazing, because in a five hour ride, you'll follow the forming canyon, steep and dropping down 3,500 m/11,480 ft in 65 kms until Yolosa at 1,150 m/3,772 ft. You'll cross waterfalls, cliffs of over 500 m deep and appreciate how the vegetation slowly appears going down until the tropics.

From Yolosa 4x4 to Coroico, a nice small town with good facilities for resting and warm weather.
Late in the afternoon transportation back to La Paz (3 hours). (L)
