Andean Odyssey offers a variety of Amazon vacation packages to Puerto Maldonado and its surrounding jungle paradise. Come and see why Puerto Maldonado is called the world capital of biodiversity. Situated at the confluence of the Madre de Dios and Tambopata rivers, the airport at Puerto Maldonado provides access to the two most important concentrations of jungle wildlife in the entire Amazon River basin.

Andean Odyssey's 3 to 6 day Amazon vacation packages to Puerto Maldonado are designed to view the amazing plant and animal life of the Amazon rainforest at the pace you choose. Short of time? In 3 days, you can take a river boat for 2 nights at a jungle lodge, from where you will be guided on walking tours on jungle trails and take a canoe ride on a lake that is teeming with bird life, caimans, and other exotic species.

With a few more days you can delve deeper into the jungle. You may wish to take a river boat into the Tambopata-Candamo Nature Reserve, which houses macaws herons, kingfishers and scores of other rare birds seen nowhere else on earth. Or you may prefer to take the short flight from Cusco to the Boca Manu airport, where you board a river boat for a 4-hour river journey to the Manu Lodge in the heart of Manu National Park.

Amazon vacation packages don't get any better than Andean Odyssey's packages to Puerto Maldonado.
