DISCOVERING AMAZON - 001
ECOLOGICAL CRUISE IN THE AMAZON (4 D / 3 N)

DAY 1. LA PAZ / TRINIDAD
Transfer in from Trinidad airport, transportation to Puerto Barador in the Mamore river to board flotel Reina Enin. Cruise in the river, seeing rich fauna like river turtles, birds and pink river dolphins. (L, D)

DAY 2. ENJOYING THE AMAZON AREA
Horse ride through the jungle visiting a cattle ranch, then into the savannas and lowlands of Moxos. Visit the Native community of San Renato to share a cross cultural exchange with the Yurakares. (B, L, D)

DAY 3. CRUISING THE MAMORE RIVER
Morning to share in Villa Victoria with old Mojeno people, then trek around a big lagoon, taking a boat to see the abundant fauna of the area. In the afternoon trek into the Amazon forest to see giant trees, then cross a small lagoon and later enjoy a fresh bath in the Mamore river. (B, L, D)

DAY 4. IBARE RIVER AND TRANSFER OUT
Return cruise with river activities like pirana fishing until the Ibare river, land in the port of Loma Suarez, transfer to the airport in Trinidad. (B)



DISCOVERING AMAZON- 002
EXPLORING THE HEART OF THE AMAZON - Santa Ana de Yacuma and Lagos (4 D/3 N)

DAY 1. Transfer in - Flight TRINIDAD / LOS LAGOS - Fishing
Flight in to Trinidad Airport to connect with a flight to the area of Los Lagos (50 min), in the heart of the Amazon jungle to enjoy the facilities of hotel Los Lagos **** in the shores of the Lake Largo. Trip to the area of Porvenir, near another lake to fish or see the rich wildlife of the area, return to the hotel. (L, D)

DAY 2. Discover LAKE LARGO - Hiking in the Amazon jungle
Lunch trip through the lake going to the Delta and having a touch of the beauty below due to its crystal waters. Around mid day you'll go to Barranco Colorado and enter the jungle, have a barbecue under the shadow of gigantic trees and rest in hammocks. Then hike through the jungle, the see the rich flora and discover something of the abundant fauna. Return to the hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 3. Flight LAGOS / SANTA ANA DE YACUMA - Trip to the Mamore river
Flight to the town of Santa Ana de Yacuma, where you'll enjoy the facilities of hotel Mamore ****. In the afternoon, explore the Rapulo river first, then joining the Yacuma and finally the Mamore river, one of the main affluents of the Amazon river. The area is rich in birds, parrots, caymans, river turtles, pink dolphins, capybaras and monkeys. Return to the hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 4. Flight SANTA ANA DE YACUMA / TRINIDAD - Transfer out
Flight from Santa Ana to Trinidad (30 min) to take your flight back to Santa Cruz or La Paz. (B)




DISCOVERING AMAZON-003
NOEL KEMPFF MERCADO NATIONAL PARK (4 D/3 N)

DAY 1. Flight SANTA CRUZ / FLOR DE ORO
Charter flight to Flor de Oro, located on the banks of the Itenez River, you'll fly over pristine rainforest, as well as the magnificent Caparu Plateau with its red cliffs and two impressive waterfalls Ahlfeld and Arco Iris. The afternoon will be spent exploring gallery forests found along the Itenez River and the large expanse of savanna. An optional night hike will be offered. (L, D)

DAY 2. OXBOW LAKES, GALLERY FORESTS, AND PERIODICALLY INUNDATED SAVANNA
Visit some of the oxbow lakes, gallery forests, and periodically inundated savannas located near Flor de Oro. The exploration of these three distinctly different habitat types should provide good looks at a large variety of birds, could also spot a family of Giant Otters while traveling along one of the bays. Then another one of the attractive bays located close to Flor de Oro. (B, L, D)

DAY 3. PERIODICALLY INUNDATED SAVANNA AND TERRA FIRME FORESTS
Continue exploring periodically inundated savannas and tall humid tropical rainforests that lie between Flor de Oro and the campsite Lago Caiman. Following a return to Flor de Oro by tractor, an optional night hike will be offered to look for some of the many owls and nightjars that can be found. (B, L, D)

DAY 4. Flight FLOR DE ORO / SANTA CRUZ
Your final morning in Noel Kempff will take you in search of some of the species that may have eluded you during the previous three days. That means you could be visiting any of the bays or trails located around Flor de Oro before your flight back to Santa Cruz. (B)




DISCOVERING AMAZON-004

MADIDI NATIONAL PARK - Ecolodge Chalalan (5 Days/4 Nights)

DAY 1. LA PAZ / RURRENABAQUE
Morning flight from La Paz to Rurrenabaque (1 hour). Transfer to hotel and introduction of your program. Afternoon free to enjoy the warm weather and calm of this small town, in the banks of the Beni river. Overnight in hotel. (L, D)

DAY 2. RURRENABAQUE / CHALALAN - Madidi National Park
Boat trip in the Beni and Tuichi river until the port of the Chalalan Ecolodge. A walk through the jungle to the lodge. Lunch and time to rest. In the afternoon you'll see the project of Madidi National Park run by the community of San Jose de Uchupiamonas. Then a trek through the Chichilo and Mirador trails focusing the field of construction. Dinner and optional trek to see night wildlife. (B, L, D)

DAY 3. CHALALAN - Madidi National Park
Trek in the Silbador, Mutua and Anta trails to see the fruit, medicinal and exotic plants. Lunch and time to swim in the lagoon. In the afternoon you'll enjoy didactic games or see the bibliography of the project. Then trek in the Wichi and Jaguar trails focusing the area of artisan plants and also enjoy birdwatching in Bolivia. After dinner, traditional histories and legends of the area. (B, L, D)

DAY 4. CHALALAN - Madidi National Park
Today trek in the Wabucuru and Marimono trails, focuses ecological processes, wildlife and visit small ruins, not well identified. Reaching the Eslabon river is an area with hills, with good chances to see monkeys and other mammals. Lunch and return to Chalalan. After dinner other games related with biodiversity and memory, associate with Chalalan. (B, L, D)

DAY 5. CHALALAN / RURRENABAQUE / LA PAZ
Early breakfast and departure, walking first to the port in the Tuichi river and then boat to Rurrenabaque. Flight to La Paz with both transfers. (B)



DISCOVERING AMAZON-005

MADIDI NATIONAL PARK - Pampas and Chalalan (6 D/5 N)

DAY 1. LA PAZ / RURRENABAQUE / PAMPAS
Transfer out to the military airport and flight La Paz / Rurrenabaque in the morning.
Trip through the towns of Reyes and Santa Rosa to the Yacuma river, explore the Yacuma river to appreciate abundant fauna in the area, where you can see: monkeys, pink river dolphins, capybaras, anaconda, lizards and caimans, and a great amount of birds. In the night a small canoe ride to see alligators and night wildlife. Camp at the banks of the Yacuma river. (L, D)

DAY 2. PAMPAS - RURRENABAQUE
In the morning you will have a small trek in the Pampas (floods) area, with good chances to see the anaconda and other mammals. Return to Santa Rosa, then Rurrenabaque. Dinner at a typical local restaurant. (B, L, D)

DAY 3. RURRENABAQUE - CHALALAN
Enjoy the Beni river first (1 hour), crossing the strait of "El Bala", then the Tuichi river until the port of the Chalalan Ecolodge (3 hours). A gentle walk through the jungle in the Wichi trail to the lodge in the shores of the lagoon. Lunch and time to rest, in the afternoon they will present Madidi National Park and the project of the community of San Jose de Uchupiamonas. Then a trek through the Chichilo and Mirador trails focusing the field of construction. Dinner
and trek to see the night wildlife. (B, L, D)

DAY 4. CHALALAN - Madidi National Park
