1. TRANSFER IN / CITY TOUR
Transfer in from Viru Viru Airport to the
hotel in Santa Cruz (12 km).
In the afternoon you'll visit the places
of interest in Santa Cruz: 24 of September
Square, Palacio de la Cultura (a cultural
center), the House of Spain, the Arenal
Park and its local museum and finally the
Zoo.

Day at leisure to enjoy the charm of their

DAY
1. Flight to TRINIDAD and then to LOS
LAGOS - Fishing
Flight to Trinidad to connect straight
another flight to the area of Los Lagos
(50 min), in the heart of the Amazon jungle
to enjoy the facilities of hotel Los Lagos
**** in the shores of the Lake Largo.
Trip to the area of Porvenir, near another
lake to fish or see the rich wildlife
of the area, return to the hotel. (L,

DAY
2. Discover LAKE LARGO - Hike in the Amazon
jungle
Lunch trip through the lake going to the
Delta and having a touch of the beauty
below due to its crystal waters. Around
noon you'll go to Barranco Colorado and
enter the jungle, have a barbecue under
the shadow of gigantic trees and rest
in local hammocks. Then hike through the
jungle, to see the rich flora and discover
some of the abundant fauna. Return to

3. Flight LAGOS / TRINIDAD - Transfer
out
Flight from Los Lagos to Trinidad (50
min) to take your flight back to Santa

TRINIDAD
- Farms, Indian tribes and ruins in the Amazon
(3 days /2 nights)
DAY 1. FLIGHT TO TRINIDAD
/ TRIP TO A TRADITIONAL FARM
Flight to Trinidad and trip through open savannas
of the Amazon plains, seeing lots of birds
and animals like the caimans. In the farm
you'll see how people works in their cattle
ranchs, famous for its good meat in Bolivia.
Overnight in the farm (basic lodging). (L,

DAY 2. VISIT A NATIVE COMMUNITY
AND SOME RUINS
After a typical breakfast, trip through the
savannas in the Amazon to visit an Indian
community and see how they are preserving
many of their old traditions. Then visit artificial
mounds with archaeological remains, used by
local cultures to increase production and
avoid inundations of the area. Walk through
the area enjoying also the rich nature and

Trip back to Trinidad and flight to Santa

- Puerto Suarez (3 days / 2 nights)
DAY
1. SANTA CRUZ / PUERTO SUAREZ - FREE SHOP
Flight from Santa Cruz to Puerto Suarez
with both transfers. In the afternoon you'll
visit the duty free shop in Puerto Quijarro,
an increasing industry towards the Brazilian
market. Also town of Puerto Suarez. (L,

2. BOAT TRIP TO THE PANTANAL
You'll take a boat trip to lagoon Caceres
and enjoy the rich flora and fauna in a
morning tour of the area. In the afternoon
enjoy the facilities of the hotel, with
small hikes or horse riding. (B, L, D)
DAY
3. MUTUN / TRANSFER OUT
Morning trip to visit the small Mutun range,
a rich iron area with an amazing view of
the Pantanal plains and Paraguay river.
Return to the hotel to enjoy the fresh swimming
pool and the warm weather. Transfer out

DAY
1. SANTA CRUZ / CITY TOUR
including the
Zoo
Transfer in from Viru Viru Airport of to
the hotel in Santa Cruz (12 km). Santa Cruz
is located in the eastern Amazon lowlands
of the country, at 437 m.
P. M. Visit the 24 of September Square,
Palacio de la Cultura (a cultural center),
the House of Spain, the Arenal Park (with
a small regional museum). Finally the Zoo
(with only Bolivian fauna).
DAY
2. SAMAIPATA RUINS / SERRANIA VOLCANOES
The site is 124 km - 2 hours from Santa
Cruz. Trip starts in the morning visiting
these majestic and mysterious pre Inca ruins
of Samaipata. The road goes through the
Rio Grande River, having a touch of Amboro
National Park, then enter few kilometers
off the main road to visit Serrania Volcanes,
a beautiful red range with great depressions
and lots of vegetation,. Return to Santa

3. SANTA CRUZ/ SAN JAVIER/ CONCEPCION
The Jesuit Missions are located on the immense
prairie of the Chiquitania, trip from Santa
Cruz passing: Rio Grande, Rio San Julian,
San Ramón and the Jesuit Mission
of San Javier. A nice town that has preserved
all the influence of colonial architecture
surrounded with the rich Amazon jungle.
Then continue through open savannas and
areas of jungle until the beautiful town
of Concepcion, the largest center of the
Missions, with an amazing Jesuit church,
a special treasure of the baroque from the
XVIII century. (B, L, D)

4. CONCEPCION / SANTA CRUZ - TRANSFER OUT
Morning to enjoy the warm weather and the
beauty of this town and his cheer people,
then visit the largest repair shop for all
the restoration done in the Jesuit Missions.

The Jesuit Missions are located on the

in San Javier the trip goes through open

2. CONCEPCION / SAN IGNACIO
In the morning you'll visit the repair
shop, the largest of the area dedicate
to the restoration of all the Jesuit Missions.
In the afternoon the trip continues to
San Ignacio, passing through forests of
palms, lagoons and more jungle areas.
San Ignacio is the largest city of the
area and a main center of commerce, his
church is under reconstruction to have
the old traditional style of the Missions.

3. SANTA ANA, SAN RAFAEL AND SAN MIGUEL
This a long but great day, because the
trip passes interesting mission villages
and churches that have been preserved.
The villages are Santa Ana, San Rafael
and San Miguel, each with their own Jesuit
Mission church. Return to San Ignacio.

waterfalls and riverpools with warm weather
and lots of nature, finally visit the town
of Samaipata and its local museum. Overnight

DAY 3. FULL DAY HIKE NEAR
AMBORO NATIONAL PARK TO EL FUERTE
The trek of LOMA LARGA, where the flora
of Amboro National Park is spectacular until
the famous pre-Inca ruins of Samaipata,
the eastern advance of the Andean cultures.

DAY 4. SANTA CRUZ/ SAN
JAVIER/ CONCEPCION
The Jesuit Missions are located in the Chiquitania
prairie, visiting first the Mission of San
Javier, a small colonial town. After lunch
the trip continues through open savannas
to Concepcion, the largest center of the
Missions with a nice church constructed
in baroque style from the XVIII century.

Morning to enjoy the warm weather and the
beauty of this town and visit the largest
