Following are some alternatives for 2 days of navigated excursions:

North Seymour Island : This is probably the most exiting island, if you want to take pictures. Bird life is abundant and very close to the trail. The largest birds are found here, as well as nesting blue footed boobies and swalow tailed gulls. The Seymour island is our last visiting place before leaving to the airport, where we will take the flight back to Quito.

Bartolome Island (also called Bartholomew) : Is a geological history portrait of the archipelago. The most impressive volcanic landscape may be observed from the top of Bartolome; various lava formations, volcanic peaks and the moon landscape. Following are some alternatives for the overland excursions:
 
Santa Cruz Island: Santa Cruz is the second largest island in the Galapagos. The small town of Puerto Ayora is the economic centre of the archipelago, with the largest population of the 4 inhabited islands.

The Charles Darwin Research Station and the Galapagos National Park offices are based here.
The conservation of the islands is conducted amongst others; by scientists, park rangers and park managers and they make huge effort to preserve this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The station is also a tortoise breeding and rearing centre, where tortoises are prepared to be reintroduced to their natural habitats.

Santa Cruz Highland´s lush scenery is a welcome contrast to the aird scenery of the smaller, lower islands. A point of interest are the famed lava tunnels, a fun and geologically informative visit. The trip to the highland ends with a visit to the Twin Craters.

Black Turtle Cove is one of the most beautiful marine sites in the Galapagos surrounded by different species of mangrove. It is a resting (and sometimes mating) place for sea turtles, rays and small sharks.

Bachas Islands located to the west of Black Turtle Cove, their sand is made of decomposed coral, which makes it white and soft. These islands are a favourite nesting site for sea turtles.
