AM Half day excursion visiting Ahu Vinapu, Rano Kau volcano and the ceremonial village of Orongo and its hundreds petroglyphs.
PM Half day excursion visiting Ahu Tahai, which is the oldest on the island, and consists of the three different ahus: Ahu Ko Te Riku, Ahu Vai Uri and Ahu Tahai. Stop in Hanga Roa with a visit of Sebastian Englert Anthropological Museum. Overnight. (Meals included: Breakfast)
Day 4
Easter Island
AM Half day excursion visiting Ana te Pahu and Ahu Akivi, seven spectacular that date back to 1460 A.D. The tour finishes at Puna a Pau hill, a red stone quarry that was most likely the source for the moais' topknots and ornamental hairpieces. Balance of the day at leisure. (Meals included: Breakfast)
