South and the Great Island of Chilóe

The South of Chile is an impassioning area; it is where the traditions of the Mapuche people are united with the scenic beauty of the volcanoes, lakes, and millennial forests surrounded by hot springs, ski resorts, adventure tourisms, and beaches. Cities such as Temuco, Pucón, Valdivia, Osorno, Puerto Montt, and Puerto Varas receive the visitor with the warmth of its people and incredible natural beauty.

The lakes Llanquihue and Todos los Santos (All of the Saints) attract travelers from all over the world, inviting them to explore its turquoise and emerald waters, in the middle of the mountains with endemic flora and fauna. The countless number of rivers are a dream for fisherman and sports enthusiasts, as well as for nature enthusiasts. The forests of Araucaria, oaks, and alerces show us millennial natural jewels. These "rainforests" are a worthy setting, difficult to find in another corner of the planet.

The Island of Chilóe transports the traveler to a world of legends, myths, and traditions, offering the visitor a unique experience with its culinary traditions, handicrafts, weavings, and architecture characteristic of the culture of Chilóe.
