Paracas
The
Bay of Paracas is located around 15 Km south of
Pisco. Sunshine most of the year, with mild temperature
during the day but cold nights and frequent sand
storms mainly in the winter characterize the Paracas
Peninsula.
The Paracas culture inhabited this area between
1300 BC and 100 AD. They are known for its fine
woven textiles embroidered with geometric designs.
