At 3800 km from the cost of central Chile, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, is a fascinating and mysterious island called Rapa Nui or Te-Pito-Henúa, which in native language means "The navel of the world." Its tropical climate invites the traveler to enjoy its beaches, landscapes, and vegetation throughout the entire year. However, without a doubt, one of its greatest attractions are the world famous Moais, a series of enormous statues (20 meters high) of volcanic rock carved by the indigenous group of the island, and which continue to be a mystery.

Another attraction of Insular Chile is the archipelago, Juan Fernandez, located 670 km to the west of Valparaiso. One can only reach the so-called Robinson Crusoe Island by air (2 to 3 hours) or by boat (25 to 72 hours). This island is characterized by its volcanic origin and its physiognomy of deep gorges, cliffs, and abrupt, rugged mountainous cords that make up the current National Park.

Its history is full of legends of pirates and great treasures since it was one of the most recurrent stops for pirates that crossed the Pacific during the 17th century.
